Ultrasonic cleaning in the field of photovoltaics ))

A frequency of 250 kHz is recommended for ultrasonic cleaning of sensitive work­pieces and substrates with fine structures, such as components in the optical and semiconductor industry, the fields of electronics, precision engineering, micro­technology, nanotechnology and photovoltaics. Power outputs of between 250 and 500 Watts are typically available for these applications. Attention must also be paid to ensuring stepless power control here.

Weber Ultrasonics recently presented its SONIC DIGITAL 250 kHz generator in this field, a device which employs 19" technology.
