SONOSUB® and SONOSUB® MULTI submersible transducers combine robust construction with high efficiency and flexible connection options. They also boast a laser-welded casing which exhibits extremely low warpage and high dimensional accuracy and lends the welded joint a significantly higher quality and strength. Their extremely smooth and refined design also eliminates the risk of very fine soiling particles being deposited on the welded joints, which would lead to recontamination of the components or soiling of the rinsing tanks. SONOSUB® submersible transducers can be attached to the base and/or the side wall of the cleaning system chamber.
As true three-frequency ultrasonic transducers, each transducer element of the SONOSUB ® MULTI can generate three frequencies. The multifrequency transducers therefore only need one set of transducer elements.
This offers several physical advantages. Thanks to its design, the SONOSUB® MULTI offers the same output as conventional multifrequency submersible transducers, but is considerably smaller and requires less power. Using a set of multifrequency transducer elements also prevents any undesired weakening of the ultrasonic output associated with stiffening when multiple transducers are positioned close to one another, as only one third of the elements is used to generate the ultrasonic energy in each case.
